Copper Bonding cable is required encircling the entire swimming pool and spa for all new installations. This is a large, thick bare copper cable and takes a lot of this to complete a job. Often times there are shorter cables left over. These can be coupled together using only one item that is approved by building inspectors. That is a Split-Bolt direct burial rated connector. By using this, wasted cable is not thrown away or melted down. It can be used even with 10 or more of these connectors around the shell of a pool.
