Conduit Straps

August 23, 2026

One of the most missed items for wiring installations are conduit straps. Electrical Inspectors are getting very tough on new installations because electricians often leave these very important items off when they are part of the National Electrical Code and REQUIRED. One must be installed on all conduits of any type within 12 inches of where it is terminated such as a pool pump, and within 12 inches of where it originates such as an electrical panel. Then they must be installed every 36 inches apart on flexible conduit should there be a longer install of this type. And every 10 ft on hard pipe that is not flexible. Straps are not expensive, yet take time to install and keep the electrical conduit in place and safe. They are an absolute must in installations and so many installations are left without them.
