The Generac 200 Amp Outdoor Raintight Transfer Switch is what is normally used for most Generac Home Stand-By Generators. Even though 200 amps are rarely required, adjusting the wire size allows this to work on smaller systems such as 10KW, 13KW, 14KW, 15KW, 18KW, 20KW, 22KW, 24KW and 26KW. All of these are approved for most home installations since they are quieter (around 61db) than the commercial models that are rated a higher KW, which are closer to 110db when operating and a nuisance for neighbors. This Transfer Switch is designed to operate the entire generator system and also comes with 4 built-in Air Conditioner Load Shedding relays.
